Clit

The rules

Clit is a 2 players game of speed & reactivity. The winner is the first to get rid of all their cards.

Setup

Each player is given half of the card deck. They shuffle their pile, and place it face down in front of them.
They both flip the 1^st card of their pile and place it in the center. Those two cards are the basis of the central stacks.
They then flip the first 5 cards of their pile and display them in front of them.

Play

There is no playing order. Anyone can place cards at any moment.
Once the game starts, each player can place any of the 5 cards displayed in front of them on any one of the central stacks that is of either equal value, one above or one up. Ace is considered both a high and low card.
When they take a card from the 5 placed in front of them, they flip a card from their pile to replace it. They always have 5 cards displayed.

And now for the fun part

When the top cards of both central stacks are of the same value, players can place both their hands on the stacks (to prevent anyone from adding more cards) and shout "Clit!".
The other player then takes both stacks, leaving the two top cards in the center as basis for the new stacks. They shuffle the cards and add them at the bottom of their own pile.

The first player with no cards left wins.
